Kimstad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Svartengren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute Ragnar Hultman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wulf Siepen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ragnar Hultman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wulf Siepen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Kristo Kaldur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Rayman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Håkan Biörk hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Ragnar Hultman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wulf Siepen having to interfere. In the 29th minute of the match Mikael Stenström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kristo Kaldur skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kimstad's zone, Rolando Rayman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristo Kaldur came out of the goal and Rolando Rayman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 34 minutes, Simon Hasselqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skorpelids IF and the Kimstad players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Skorpelids IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Hasselqvist to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Rayman in the 37th minute of play forced Kimstad's goalkeeper Kristo Kaldur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Skorpelids IF's Rolando Rayman in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kimstad's goalie prevented a goal. Kimstad's Kristo Kaldur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Rayman in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Ragnar Hultman made the kick off in the second half. The Skorpelids IF fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Skorpelids IF's Rolando Rayman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 57th minute, Rolando Rayman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mikael Stenström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rolando Rayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Rolando Rayman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skorpelids IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolando Rayman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristo Kaldur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the match, Skorpelids IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ragnar Hultman came free, but Wulf Siepen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikael Stenström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristo Kaldur having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Kimstad's goalkeeper Kristo Kaldur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rolando Rayman. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kimstad's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Osvald Zachrisson was slow to take the kick. During this time Skorpelids IF's players had a chance to rest. Ove Göransson hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After a good free kick, Ove Göransson got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Kimstad. Jan Kvick took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristo Kaldur. Kristo Kaldur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Kristo Kaldur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Skorpelids IF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
