Verner Blomqvist's late challenge caught a Upphärad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anders Kjellberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Craig Clayton having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingemar Brenner during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, EMMURE's Ingemar Brenner got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulrik Ekman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, EMMURE's Sebastian Fors nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Craig Clayton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Craig Clayton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oscar Zanette went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. EMMURE fully deserved thier win.
