Jim Alströmmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ola Alberg in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Delminho FF's Juliusz Sadlowski got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Pär Frisk didn't quite understand what happened when in the 34 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Jim Alströmmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Olof Fagerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Jim Alströmmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bror Lindqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bror Lindqvist in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jim Alströmmer saved Delminho FF from getting behind. Jens-Ola Alberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jim Alströmmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute Bror Lindqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Alströmmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bror Lindqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henning Andersson was the one to do the kick off. Henning Andersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Koch having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan-Olof Fagerberg during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Delminho FF booed when Smögen IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Olof Fagerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jim Alströmmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bror Lindqvist in the 59th minute. A collision led to Delminho FF getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Henry Johnsson hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Delminho FF defense, Johan Bergman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jim Alströmmer. The Delminho FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jim Alströmmer should have stopped the shot. After 67 minutes of play Smögen IF's Jan-Olof Fagerberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jan-Olof Fagerberg hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Bror Lindqvist fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jim Alströmmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ola Alberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bror Lindqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jim Alströmmer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Delminho FF's goalkeeper Jim Alströmmer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bror Lindqvist. Jim Alströmmer didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. 83 minutes into the game, Bror Lindqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3.
