The crowd rose to their feet as Jarl Hernström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Georg Alén. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Olle Wik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Ekegren in the 11th minute of play. Philip Ekegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Olle Wik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Linus Häll hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Jarl Hernström might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Georg Alén. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jarl Hernström ran back to his position shaking his head. After 21 played minutes Järbo IF got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Nordlander. The long shot by Börje Rang in the 35th minute really tested Georg Alén's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 38 minutes of play, Transtrand's Linus Häll made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olle Wik was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olle Wik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Åke Brogren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Jarl Hernström made the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes Järbo IF got a freekick which was hit by Edward Almstedt. Philip Ekegren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olle Wik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Transtrand's Linus Häll got a free kick in the 65th minute. Georg Alén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarl Hernström in the 66th minute of the match. Philip Ekegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olle Wik having to interfere. Olle Wik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Ekegren in the 75th minute of play. When Jarl Hernström came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Järbo IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarl Hernström couldn't finish the play. Magnus Käcker's late challenge caught a Transtrand's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A very good chance. 1-3 became the score in the 84th minute when Jan-Åke Brogren elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. It was Thor Hökqvist who took care of the corner kick. The Transtrand supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Transtrand would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
