The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arne Vik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Crystal Lake Guardians booed when Riksgränsen IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Åke Lindqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boris Sundling blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edvin Martinsson having to make a save. Tobiasz Wyrzykowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Hylander having to interfere. Riksgränsen IFK's Edvin Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Smedfeldt in the 65th minute of play. Edvin Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Vik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was beautiful to see Riksgränsen IFK's Jens-Ola Högberg in action when he in the 74th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 78th minute, Karl-Åke Lindqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 82nd minute of the match Kurt Hermansson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kurt Hermansson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 83 played minutes Crystal Lake Guardians got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Hermansson. Edvin Martinsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Vik in the 86th minute of the match. Edvin Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Smedfeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Karl-Åke Lindqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
