The supporters of Genarp booed when Syrianska FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Blomberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Magnus Botvidsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Syrianska FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Magnus Botvidsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kåre Vestlund. Genarp's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Magnus Botvidsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Elliott Gallberg scored 1-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kåre Vestlund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 45 minutes into the match, Magnus Botvidsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kåre Vestlund. Genarp's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Magnus Botvidsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The Genarp players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Syrianska FC were winning 1-4.

The wind increased when Magnus Botvidsson made the kick off in the second half. The coaching staff of Syrianska FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Henry Blomberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 77 played minutes Syrianska FC got a freekick which was hit by Henry Blomberg. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Magnus Botvidsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Syrianska FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Magnus Botvidsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kåre Vestlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Max Biörnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torsten Lindman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 played minutes Syrianska FC got a freekick which was hit by Elliott Gallberg. Syrianska FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
