Arnaldo Niguel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Erik Uggstedt in the 14th minute of the match. Joacim Apelkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnaldo Niguel having to make a save. 27 minutes into the game, Mattias Kristiansson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabian Högman. Mattias Kristiansson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, IFK Eskilstuna's Tony Söderqvist got a free kick in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Eskilstuna's zone, Joacim Apelkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Niguel came out of the goal and Joacim Apelkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Douglas Backman kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Joacim Apelkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute Mattias Kristiansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Högman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaldo Niguel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Erik Uggstedt in the 41st minute of the match. After 44 played minutes IFK Eskilstuna got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Backman. Arnaldo Niguel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Erik Uggstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jens-Erik Uggstedt made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Arnaldo Niguel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fabian Högman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Van Hellsing, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Mattias Kristiansson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabian Högman was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Mattias Kristiansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Högman having to interfere. If Van Hellsing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony Söderqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. IFK Eskilstuna's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
