The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Väddö were furious when Magnus Carlberg was red carded, 5 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Väddö getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Magnus Carlberg hit a great ball. Klagshamn FF's Ingvar Blomqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andreas Gausdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Blomqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albin Ekenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Väddö's Andreas Gausdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Hammarbäck in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Väddö getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Bengt-Arne Vidman hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Klagshamn FF's Valter Hammarbäck dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Väddö's goalkeeper Andreas Gausdal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alf Karlsson. Väddö's Mikael Åberg got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Valter Hammarbäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Klagshamn FF's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Åberg came free, but Albin Ekenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Väddö's goal looked a bit too open when Valter Hammarbäck came free, but Andreas Gausdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andreas Nilsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agne Ahlgren hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Mikael Åberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albin Ekenberg having to interfere. In the 39th minute Andreas Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albin Ekenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andreas Nilsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albin Ekenberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play.

The wind increased when Valter Hammarbäck made the kick off in the second half. Andreas Gausdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Karlsson in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to Klagshamn FF getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Alf Karlsson hit a great ball. Andreas Gausdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Karlsson in the 57th minute of the match. Alf Karlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mikael Åberg kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Väddö defense, Alf Karlsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andreas Gausdal. The Väddö fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andreas Gausdal should have stopped the shot. After 78 played minutes Klagshamn FF got a freekick which was hit by Rune Söderman. Albin Ekenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Nilsson in the 81st minute of play. With his leg Albin Ekenberg managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Väddö's Andreas Nilsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Andreas Gausdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Karlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Väddö's Mikael Åberg got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute Alf Karlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Gausdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Väddö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddie Flink to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Göran Andersson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Väddö's Andreas Gausdal didn't even have to move. Valter Hammarbäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Andreas Gausdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Klagshamn FF were victorious despite being under pressure from Väddö for much of the match.
