In the 5th minute, Filipe Moutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arman Löfgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Gilbert Linquist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kent Hegg. Fjärdhundra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilbert Linquist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Rafael Gatica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Kent Hegg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filipe Moutinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kent Hegg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of Fjärdhundra booed when Akalla SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agne Kristiansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilbert Linquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filipe Moutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Gilbert Linquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Akalla SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilbert Linquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kent Hegg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Kjell Melberg fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fjärdhundra's protests and gave Kjell Melberg a yellow card for diving instead. Akalla SC's Wilhelm Josefsson was substituted for Jim Nordgren. After 34 played minutes Fjärdhundra got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Melberg. Kent Hegg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gatica in the 37th minute of the match. If Arman Löfgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41stth minute of the game Arman Löfgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Akalla SC's Napoleon Zbikowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Arman Löfgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Napoleon Zbikowski. Akalla SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arman Löfgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilbert Linquist to strike the kick off in the second half. Rafael Gatica scored 2-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kent Hegg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 70 minutes, Gilbert Linquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akalla SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Linquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arman Löfgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arman Löfgren's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Napoleon Zbikowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. Torbjörn Hurtig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Akalla SC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Wilhelm Josefsson hit a great ball. Kent Hegg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gatica, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Akalla SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
