Sandared's Andreas Sjö quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kjell-Arne Melander to strike the kick off in the second half. If Leo Cane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. Karl-Ove Hammarberg scored 3-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernt Eklund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 96 minutes into the game, Anderslöv FF's Dimosthenis Kioumourtzoglou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernt Eklund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When the referee ended the match the Anderslöv FF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
