But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Cane couldn't finish the play. Bo Söderkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leo Cane's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute Leo Cane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bo Söderkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Johnsson struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Bo Söderkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anderslöv FF. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivar Andersson during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Karl-Ove Hammarberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 33 minutes, Samuel Johnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anderslöv FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Johnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Anderslöv FF getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Degeberga BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anderslöv FF the free kick. In the 36th minute, Christian Dalström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Bernt Anundsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bo Söderkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Cane, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leo Cane to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Degeberga BK defense, Leo Cane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bo Söderkvist. The Degeberga BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bo Söderkvist should have stopped the shot. Bo Söderkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Cane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimosthenis Kioumourtzoglou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Bo Söderkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leo Cane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anderslöv FF's Leo Cane got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Cane in the 83rd minute of play forced Degeberga BK's goalkeeper Bo Söderkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bo Söderkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute.
