Spectators: 7194 (Terracing: 5397, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Roger Uggstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosenfors's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Uggstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christopher Jonsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the game, Brian Åberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosenfors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Born with the hammer the free kick. After a rather tough play, Rosenfors's Brian Åberg got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 17th minute, Roger Uggstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronny Lundqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Christopher Jonsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Tingelholm kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Rosenfors's Roger Uggstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gert Anselius got free with Bertil Lindgren in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Born with the hammer's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Karl-Michael Billing in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rosenfors's goalkeeper Bertil Lindgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Bertil Lindgren managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Born with the hammer's Martin Tingelholm fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Göran Söderqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Gert Anselius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Martin Tingelholm made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th match minute, Born with the hammer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Tingelholm to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Rosenfors's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Söderqvist came free, but Bertil Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bertil Lindgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Born with the hammer. In the 96th minute Ronny Lundqvist managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
