When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jiří Měchura sped through Jävrebyn BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Frank Sandström. Frank Sandström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Jespersson , who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Jiří Měchura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åre's supporters rose to their feet, but Jiří Měchura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Sandström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Villiam Hurtig in the 21st minute of play forced Åre's goalkeeper Aaron Sigman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Sandström came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Åre's Sven-Edvin Jespersson . But to his dismay, Sven-Edvin Jespersson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 31st minute, Jiří Měchura made a precise shot to the right of Frank Sandström. Jävrebyn BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Frank Sandström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Benedetti in the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Mathias Lövskog managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åre's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathias Lövskog was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Sandström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jiří Měchura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Frank Sandström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Jiří Měchura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Frank Sandström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 47 minutes of play, Åre's Jiří Měchura made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frank Sandström was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jiří Měchura to strike the kick off in the second half. Frank Sandström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiří Měchura in the 53rd minute of the match. When Edward Söderström fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jävrebyn BK's protests and gave Edward Söderström a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Jävrebyn BK getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Edward Söderström hit a great ball. Marco Benedetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Sandström having to interfere. Dag Brolin lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 60th minute, one of Jävrebyn BK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jävrebyn BK. The referee gave Åre a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pelle Kilström, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jävrebyn BK's Frank Sandström. 0-6. Frank Sandström made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Jiří Měchura sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, Jiří Měchura dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Frank Sandström, 0-8. In the 84th minute, Åre's Torbjörn Söderberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frank Sandström. Frank Sandström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Jiří Měchura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åre's supporters rose to their feet, but Jiří Měchura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Sandström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frank Sandström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vincent Sundin in the 90th minute. Frank Sandström stood somewhat misplaced when Jiří Měchura came free in front of goal and shot 0-10 to the left of him in the 91 minute. In the 97th minute, Henrik Blom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Jävrebyn BK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Åre were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
