Spectators: 7096 (Terracing: 5431, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 0) Kosta's Roland Vibjörnsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stig-Åke Bollström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Odin in the 4th minute of play. Benjamin Biörnberg scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stig-Åke Bollström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 8 minutes into the match, Kosta's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Biörnberg came free, but Stig-Åke Bollström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Biörnberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stig-Åke Bollström was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Mark Odin scored 0-3 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stig-Åke Bollström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benjamin Biörnberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Biörnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Åke Bollström having to interfere. Benjamin Biörnberg scored 0-4 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stig-Åke Bollström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute, Benjamin Biörnberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mesopotamien FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. After having played for 33 minutes, Wilfred Stühling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mesopotamien FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfred Stühling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Biörnberg in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig-Åke Bollström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the match, Mesopotamien FC's Mark Odin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig-Åke Bollström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Benjamin Biörnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benjamin Biörnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Åke Bollström having to interfere. Kosta's Stig-Åke Bollström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Odin in the 44th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Biörnberg in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stig-Åke Bollström saved Kosta from getting behind. After the first half Mesopotamien FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Benjamin Biörnberg made the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Biörnberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stig-Åke Bollström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Mesopotamien FC's Mark Odin got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roland Vibjörnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Mark Odin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mesopotamien FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mark Odin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stig-Åke Bollström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 61 in the game by Mark Odin from a close distance when the talented Stig-Åke Bollström managed to make a qualified save. Kosta's players were relieved. In the 63rd minute, Mesopotamien FC's Mark Odin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Kosta's Stig-Åke Bollström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Kosta from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Mesopotamien FC booed when Kosta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Dahlbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilfred Stühling might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stig-Åke Bollström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilfred Stühling ran back to his position shaking his head. Benjamin Biörnberg scored 0-7 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stig-Åke Bollström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilfred Stühling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Stig-Åke Bollström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Mesopotamien FC booed when Kosta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Vibjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Mark Odin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mesopotamien FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mark Odin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85thth minute of the game Benjamin Biörnberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kosta's Stig-Åke Bollström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benjamin Biörnberg struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Stig-Åke Bollström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mesopotamien FC. Stig-Åke Bollström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Biörnberg in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Biörnberg in the 95th minute of play forced Kosta's goalkeeper Stig-Åke Bollström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mesopotamien FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
