The supporters of Hawler IF booed when Bakgårdspojkarnas FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Odén didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Roger Jonsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kristian Jonasson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 14th minute, Urban Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Bakgårdspojkarnas FF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hawler IF:s goal. David Duset walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Roger Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Hugo Berg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvard Qvalfeldt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Kristian Jonasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Jonsson in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Bakgårdspojkarnas FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Odén to maneuver through the defense. Morgan Svartengren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Jonasson having to interfere. Kristian Jonasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Jonsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Verner Deckbergh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Morgan Svartengren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Morgan Svartengren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Jonasson having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Morgan Svartengren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roger Jonsson struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hawler IF's zone, Hugo Berg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvard Qvalfeldt came out of the goal and Hugo Berg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Berg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bakgårdspojkarnas FF's Kristian Jonasson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Bakgårdspojkarnas FF from getting a goal against them. Bakgårdspojkarnas FF's Kristian Jonasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morgan Svartengren in the 87th minute of play. Hawler IF played a much better game than Bakgårdspojkarnas FF and deserved their victory. The Bakgårdspojkarnas FF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
