Arne Harlén could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Bengt-Rune Classon made a huge save. Bengt-Rune Classon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvin Majman, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Bengt-Rune Classon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arne Harlén in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Jimmy Finsberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 12 in the game by Arne Harlén from a close distance when the talented Bengt-Rune Classon managed to make a qualified save. Gustavsfors FF's players were relieved. The nice shot from Arne Harlén in the 14thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Bengt-Rune Classon had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Jimmy Finsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Gustavsfors FF's Bengt-Rune Classon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvin Majman in the 23rd minute of play. With a little luck, Gustavsfors FF's Bengt-Rune Classon got control of the ball when Viktor Trillkott tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arne Harlén succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 26th playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Arne Harlén managed to get in a good position for a shot. Östervåla IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Arne Harlén was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt-Rune Classon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arne Harlén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bengt-Rune Classon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvin Majman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Arvin Majman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Östervåla IFK were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Gustavsfors FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elliot Granqvist took the corner. Östervåla IFK's Nils Bagge was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bengt-Rune Classon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 62nd minute Arvin Majman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Classon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Östervåla IFK's zone, Mikael Salqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristian Mårtensson came out of the goal and Mikael Salqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bengt-Rune Classon came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Östervåla IFK's Arvin Majman. But to his dismay, Arvin Majman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Bengt-Rune Classon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Harlén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Arvin Majman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bengt-Rune Classon was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Bengt-Rune Classon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvin Majman in the 90th minute of play. Bengt-Rune Classon came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Östervåla IFK's Arne Harlén. But to his dismay, Arne Harlén quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0.
