Mavve United's supporters rose to their feet, but Eddie Hedlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manfred Henriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Arne Billock fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mavve United's protests and gave Arne Billock a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes Mavve United got a freekick which was hit by Arne Billock. Jonatan Spets shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Mavve United were furious when Christoffer Jonsson was red carded, 29 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 31 minutes into the match, Mavve United's goal looked a bit too open when Filiph Duset came free, but Frans Bjurström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bror Siggman struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Manfred Henriksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mavve United. Carl Bokelund kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Östra Ljungby IF got a freekick which was hit by Eddie Holm. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eddie Holm during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eddie Holm hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Frans Bjurström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Jernberg in the 44th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bror Siggman made a kick off. Eddie Hedlund hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludvig Lindgren got free with Frans Bjurström in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 53 minutes into the match, Mavve United's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Bokelund came free, but Frans Bjurström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 played minutes Mavve United got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Unesson. Mavve United's Frans Bjurström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Bokelund in the 58th minute of play. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mavve United! Frans Bjurström went to the wrong direction when Ivar Bammerman was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Mavve United's Sixten Holm was substituted for Edvin Josefsson. Bror Siggman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Henriksson having to interfere.
