Erik Wennerberg's late challenge caught a Durbatulûk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A sloppy throw-in by Edward Påk in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Orion Tigers's Erik Wennerberg. After 24 minutes of play, Durbatulûk's Magnus Grelsson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Håkan Olenberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zula Charamut hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Michael Almkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Durbatulûk's Magnus Grelsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Håkan Olenberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Magnus Grelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Olenberg having to interfere. Håkan Olenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magnus Grelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kristoffer Näver stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Orion Tigers booed when Durbatulûk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoffer Tingelholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Grelsson in the 59th minute of play forced Orion Tigers's goalkeeper Håkan Olenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Durbatulûk's Magnus Grelsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Håkan Olenberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Magnus Grelsson scored 0-5 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Håkan Olenberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Håkan Olenberg managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Durbatulûk's Henning Hermansson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Magnus Grelsson in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Håkan Olenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Håkan Olenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magnus Grelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Henning Hermansson came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Håkan Olenberg could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Orion Tigers's Zula Charamut got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Magnus Grelsson struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Håkan Olenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Durbatulûk. When the final whistle sounded Durbatulûk left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Orion Tigers.
