Spectators: 7057 (Terracing: 5397, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 6) Orion Tigers's Kristoffer Näver started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Håkan Olenberg came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Maze BK's Ted Grubb. But to his dismay, Ted Grubb quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Orion Tigers's Håkan Olenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Elg in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute Kristoffer Näver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Snäll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sven-Erik Lindell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristoffer Näver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Philip Snäll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Håkan Olenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvid Elg in the 23rd minute of play. Niklas Strandberg hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Håkan Olenberg came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Maze BK's Arvid Elg. But to his dismay, Arvid Elg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 34th play minute Sven-Erik Lindell came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Philip Snäll. 1-2. 43 minutes into the match, Orion Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Grubb came free, but Håkan Olenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Arvid Elg notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Orion Tigers's Håkan Olenberg. Håkan Olenberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arvid Elg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Zula Charamut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orion Tigers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zula Charamut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Grubb's late challenge caught a Orion Tigers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Grubb helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, Jonathan Grubb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kristoffer Näver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristoffer Näver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute of the match, Arvid Elg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Håkan Olenberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gunnar Biörnberg during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Maze BK's Gunnar Biörnberg got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 78th minute Pontus Almkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Olenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Elg in the 79th minute of play forced Orion Tigers's goalkeeper Håkan Olenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arvid Elg got free with Håkan Olenberg in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Grubb might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Håkan Olenberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Grubb ran back to his position shaking his head. Håkan Olenberg was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Pontus Almkvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pontus Almkvist really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. 97 minutes into the game, Arvid Elg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Håkan Olenberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Orion Tigers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Maze BK's performance. The match ended with a win for Maze BK.
