The throw-in from Rune Sandström in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hällnäs's Jarl Lundberg. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximilian Bryngelsson during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, Maximilian Bryngelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes in the game Rune Sandström did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Daniel Hedin. Gabriel Jansson charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Many of Ljugarn's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ljugarn may have spent more time on the ball, but Hällnäs were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
