August Johansson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute, Sven Ståhlberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roland Blom was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Roland Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Ståhlberg in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Carl Carlsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roland Blom. Swedish Military Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carl Carlsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A collision led to Hyppeln getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ludvig Hjelm hit a great ball. After 20 minutes of play, Swedish Military Academy's August Johansson made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmund Fribäck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roland Blom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Ståhlberg in the 22nd minute of the match. August Johansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmund Fribäck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. August Johansson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 25th match minute, Hyppeln was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orvar Kråk to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Rolf Eckegren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sven Ståhlberg took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roland Blom. Roland Blom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. August Johansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Edmund Fribäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Hyppeln were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Swedish Military Academy's Roland Blom got control of the ball when Robin Kjellkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Hyppeln's Roland Blom threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sten Haegg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 54 minutes into the game, Sten Haegg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roland Blom. Sten Haegg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Gabriel Pil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Swedish Military Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Pil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmund Fribäck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Hyppeln's Erling Johansson got a free kick in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Swedish Military Academy's Simon Uggstedt got a free kick in the 64th minute. If August Johansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roland Blom made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Carl Carlsson sent off a good shot on target. Roland Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Haegg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmund Fribäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Pil, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 80th minute August Johansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Fribäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roland Blom was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Robin Kjellkvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Robin Kjellkvist really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Gabriel Pil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute Sven Ståhlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Blom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Ståhlberg in the 94th minute of play forced Swedish Military Academy's goalkeeper Roland Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Swedish Military Academy's Roland Blom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Swedish Military Academy from getting a goal against them.
