After having played for 8 minutes, Åke Gustavsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gualöv FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Åke Gustavsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Orvar Julin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Rentjärn's Axel Haeger got a free kick in the 11th minute. Orvar Julin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Rentjärn's goalkeeper Harald Torstensson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Göran Hultman. Åke Gustavsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orvar Julin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Orvar Julin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Torstensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Rentjärn's goalkeeper Harald Torstensson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Åke Gustavsson. Harald Torstensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orvar Julin in the 27th minute of play. Åke Gustavsson came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Harald Torstensson could save by the left post. Rentjärn's Axel Haeger got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Åke Gustavssons short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Harald Torstensson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The wind increased when Orvar Julin made the kick off in the second half. Orvar Julin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Konrad Brandt charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Konrad Brandt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gualöv FF booed when Rentjärn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Brandt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Orvar Julin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gualöv FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Orvar Julin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harald Torstensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harald Torstensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Gustavsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Orvar Julin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the game, Gualöv FF's Åke Gustavsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harald Torstensson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Rentjärn's Harald Torstensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Gustavsson in the 73rd minute of play. Harald Torstensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Gustavsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harald Torstensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Hultman, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Åke Gustavsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Alf Lindman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harald Torstensson. Rentjärn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alf Lindman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When Gustav Sundling fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gualöv FF's protests and gave Gustav Sundling a yellow card for diving instead. Gualöv FF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
