The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC Klumpfot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Bedri Verim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Värmdö FK's Boris Berglund got a free kick in the 19th minute. Ahmet Bedri Verim took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bo-Erik Håning. Bo-Erik Håning dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, FC Klumpfot's goal looked a bit too open when Stellan Arvidsson came free, but Markus Ek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mattias Karlstedt in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Markus Ek saved FC Klumpfot from getting behind. When Alf Fogel came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the FC Klumpfot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alf Fogel couldn't finish the play. Boris Berglund kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. If Gottfrid Dalberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC Klumpfot booed when Värmdö FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Berglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Klumpfot's Markus Ek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Karlstedt in the 41st minute of play.

Markus Ek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mattias Karlstedt in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Värmdö FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Bedri Verim came free, but Bo-Erik Håning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mattias Karlstedt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Markus Ek firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Alf Fogel managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Klumpfot's supporters rose to their feet, but Alf Fogel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bo-Erik Håning breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute Ahmet Bedri Verim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bo-Erik Håning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ahmet Bedri Verim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Värmdö FK's Bo-Erik Håning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Fogel in the 89th minute of play. Ahmet Bedri Verim might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bo-Erik Håning. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Bedri Verim ran back to his position shaking his head. Gottfrid Dalberg struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Bo-Erik Håning didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Klumpfot. Ahmet Bedri Verim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo-Erik Håning having to interfere. FC Klumpfot walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
