But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Diego couldn't finish the play. In the 8thth minute of the game Robin Diego who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Kärrtorp 's Jörgen Kämpe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tom Wik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Kenny Holm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johan Olofsson's late challenge caught a Deportivo Kärrtorp 's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johan Olofsson helped the player get up and apologised. Johan Olofsson kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Deportivo Kärrtorp 's Kristian Beckman tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the game, Tom Wik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kenny Holm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Keldanska getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Aírton Schmidt hit a great ball. Deportivo Kärrtorp 's Kristian Beckman couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Keldanska. The supporters of Deportivo Kärrtorp booed when Keldanska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aírton Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tom Wik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Kenny Holm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Keldanska's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Olof Lenberg came free, but Kenny Holm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match Gösta Björck shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kenny Holm showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kenny Holm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Wik in the 36th minute of play. Johan Olofsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robin Diego to strike the kick off in the second half. If Robin Diego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenny Holm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Olof Lenberg in the 57th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Kärrtorp 's goalkeeper Jörgen Kämpe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Robin Diego took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jörgen Kämpe. Jörgen Kämpe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Keldanska's zone, Sven-Olof Lenberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenny Holm came out of the goal and Sven-Olof Lenberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The long shot by Bengt Örtendahl in the 87th minute really tested Kenny Holm's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 88th match minute, Deportivo Kärrtorp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt Örtendahl to maneuver through the defense. Deportivo Kärrtorp 's Jörgen Kämpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Jonsson in the 89th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Keldanska's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Olof Lenberg came free, but Kenny Holm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute Sven-Olof Lenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenny Holm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deportivo Kärrtorp succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Keldanska had controlled the match.
