Spectators: 7180 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Niklas Elg got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Nyman in the 3rd minute of play forced Målsryd's goalkeeper Bo Nilsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils-Emil Gallin came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Målsryd's Ralf Josefsson. But to his dismay, Ralf Josefsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Nils-Emil Gallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Andreasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Claes Hökqvist scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bo Nilsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bo Nilsson came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Outliers's Claes Hökqvist. But to his dismay, Claes Hökqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The audience was convinced that David Andreasson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nils-Emil Gallin was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 32nd match minute, Outliers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niklas Elg to maneuver through the defense. Nils-Emil Gallin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ralf Josefsson's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Bo Nilsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niklas Elg in the 39th minute of the match. Målsryd's Bo Nilsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Elg in the 43rd minute of play. Outliers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Ralf Josefsson scored to the left of an out of position Nils-Emil Gallin, making the score, 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ralf Josefsson was the one to do the kick off. Bo Nilsson made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Niklas Elg sent off a good shot on target. Eddie Björkdal kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Målsryd's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Nyman came free, but Bo Nilsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bo Nilsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niklas Elg in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute, David Andreasson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Målsryd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. The supporters of Målsryd booed when Outliers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claes Hökqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Joar Ek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bo Nilsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niklas Elg in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Målsryd's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Nyman came free, but Bo Nilsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niklas Elg got free with Bo Nilsson in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Målsryd's David Andreasson got a free kick in the 90th minute. Nils-Emil Gallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Andreasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eddie Björkdal hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
