The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Philip Termander helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd match minute, Brandstorp FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Termander to maneuver through the defense. István Veress hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Kent Säfström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börge Ahlqvist in the 9th minute of play. When Brandstorp FK's Jens Norström in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sandhult's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Kent Säfström managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Sandhult's Börge Ahlqvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Börge Ahlqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 19 minutes, Börge Ahlqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandhult's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börge Ahlqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Osvald Söderberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Kent Säfström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Börge Ahlqvist got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jens Norström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Olof Söderström having to interfere. Conny Ekblom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Per-Olof Söderström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per-Olof Söderström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Arne Holmgren in the 34th minute of the match. Börge Ahlqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Säfström having to interfere. Börge Ahlqvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Kent Säfström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Pylyp Ostroushko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Arne Holmgren made a kick off. Per-Olof Söderström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Arne Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Börge Ahlqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kent Säfström having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Börge Ahlqvist in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kent Säfström saved Brandstorp FK from getting behind. When Sandhult's Börge Ahlqvist in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brandstorp FK's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Börge Ahlqvist put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Kent Säfström. In the 64th minute of the match Daniel Uggla shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kent Säfström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. George Sörman hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Per-Olof Söderström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens Norström in the 70th minute. Jens Norström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Per-Olof Söderström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Uggla hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Daniel Klint kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Sven-Arne Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Olof Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 minutes, Börge Ahlqvist made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Brandstorp FK's Kent Säfström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kent Säfström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Börge Ahlqvist's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Conny Ekblom took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Per-Olof Söderström to make any attempt to save it.
