Spectators: 7196 (Terracing: 5399, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) Sven-Åke Deckberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nereo Segio in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Klas Almstedt saved Knutby IFK from getting behind. Nereo Segio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Klas Almstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Klas Almstedt came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Skärhamn's Kim Palm. But to his dismay, Kim Palm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 11th minute, Birger Bremming made a precise shot to the right of Patrik Låsberg. Skärhamn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 14thth minute of the game Nereo Segio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Knutby IFK's Klas Almstedt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute Anton Västerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klas Almstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Nereo Segio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skärhamn's supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Segio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klas Almstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Skärhamn's Patrik Låsberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Skärhamn from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute, Michael Rang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marc Alén kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Nereo Segio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Anton Västerberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Klas Almstedt. Knutby IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anton Västerberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 64th match minute, Knutby IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tor Ekström to maneuver through the defense. When Nereo Segio came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Skärhamn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Segio couldn't finish the play. When Nereo Segio came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Skärhamn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Segio couldn't finish the play. The Knutby IFK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Skärhamn were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
