With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Deckberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Aleberg in the 6th minute of play forced Stjärnsund BK's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Boaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th match minute, Stjärnsund BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Björkqvist to maneuver through the defense. Egil Lövskog succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. When Stjärnsund BK's Todor Georgiev in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 1558's goalie prevented a goal. Roger Deckberg came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Stjärnsund BK's Todor Georgiev. But to his dismay, Todor Georgiev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 24 minutes into the match, 1558's goal looked a bit too open when Todor Georgiev came free, but Roger Deckberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Egil Lövskog came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Stjärnsund BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egil Lövskog couldn't finish the play. Todor Georgiev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Roger Deckberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fredric Bergqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Deckberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fredric Bergqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stjärnsund BK's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Boaru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Todor Georgiev struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Roger Deckberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stjärnsund BK. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Todor Georgiev in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger Deckberg saved 1558 from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Fredric Bergqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roger Deckberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Stjärnsund BK's Fredric Bergqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mats Aleberg to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, 1558's Mikael Odman got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Oskar Lindberg was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Casper Jonasson during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Stjärnsund BK booed when 1558 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casper Jonasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61stth minute of the game Todor Georgiev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1558's Roger Deckberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Todor Georgiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Stjärnsund BK's Torbjörn Björkqvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roger Deckberg. Roger Deckberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Roger Deckberg made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Todor Georgiev sent off a good shot on target. When Axel Östensson fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1558's protests and gave Axel Östensson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Axel Östensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fredric Bergqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Todor Georgiev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Roger Deckberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Todor Georgievs short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Roger Deckberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Stjärnsund BK's Lucrețiu Boaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Offendahl in the 97th minute of play. When the match was over Stjärnsund BK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 1558 throughout the match.
