The tension between the BK Häcken Tången and the Rotenur 2 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Rotenur 2 booed when BK Häcken Tången was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Nord didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Mikael Bremming managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BK Häcken Tången's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikael Bremming was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 9 played minutes BK Häcken Tången got a freekick which was hit by Birger Fribäck. A collision led to Rotenur 2 getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Olof Kvist hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Aron Hermansson made a precise shot to the right of Osvaldo Oriol. BK Häcken Tången's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 18th minute Lennart Holm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Oriol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Oriol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Hermansson in the 32nd minute of the match. Brian Olsman kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Lars-Erik Siggman hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When Mikael Bremming came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the BK Häcken Tången fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikael Bremming couldn't finish the play. Olof Kvist kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Lennart Holm hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. A hard shot 47 in the game by Mikael Bremming from a close distance when the talented Torgny Sundén managed to make a qualified save. Rotenur 2's players were relieved. Charles Ivarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aron Hermansson to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Rotenur 2's zone, Mikael Bremming stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torgny Sundén came out of the goal and Mikael Bremming tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torgny Sundén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Bremming in the 63rd minute of the match. Torgny Sundén stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charles Ivarsson's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Bremming in the 74th minute of play forced Rotenur 2's goalkeeper Torgny Sundén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 78 minutes on the clock, Fabian Lundström commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Charles Ivarsson's late challenge caught a Rotenur 2's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charles Ivarsson helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, BK Häcken Tången's Osvaldo Oriol got control of the ball when Lennart Holm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aron Hermansson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Osvaldo Oriol came out and tried to block the shot, but Aron Hermansson slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 84th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Bertil Axelsson in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by BK Häcken Tången's Birger Fribäck. Charles Ivarsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torgny Sundén having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Ivarsson in the 94th minute of play forced Rotenur 2's goalkeeper Torgny Sundén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Torbjörn Vikström in the 97th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by BK Häcken Tången's Axel Dahlbom. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see BK Häcken Tången lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
