Pelle Björck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Jonsson having to interfere. Carl Bergfeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigvard Vibjörnsson in the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Huddungeby's Erik Lindqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carl Bergfeldt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Sigvard Vibjörnsson put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Carl Bergfeldt. When Emil Svartengren fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huddungeby's protests and gave Emil Svartengren a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Squirtle Squad booed when Huddungeby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Svartengren didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Erik Lindqvist came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Huddungeby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Lindqvist couldn't finish the play. Erik Lindqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Huddungeby's zone, Sten Wahlström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Jonsson came out of the goal and Sten Wahlström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sten Wahlström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Jonsson having to interfere. Henry Jonsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Wahlström in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 99 minutes, Sten Wahlström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Squirtle Squad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sten Wahlström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Squirtle Squad's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Huddungeby had won, even though Squirtle Squad had held more of the ball.
