The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wiktor Karlstedt during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Södertälje's zone, Tadeusz Paraszczuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Fransson came out of the goal and Tadeusz Paraszczuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wiktor Bergman hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Erland Strömberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lekstorps IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Isaac Fransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Frisk in the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Koko Bello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lekstorps IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Koko Bello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaac Fransson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Lekstorps IF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erland Strömberg made a kick off. Jonatan Frisk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. The audience was convinced that Erland Strömberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaac Fransson was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Wiktor Karlstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Södertälje fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lekstorps IF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
