Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Säve's Per-Oskar Henriksson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bror Stenqvist came free with the goalkeeper in the 4th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sivert Morat could save by the left post. Ronny Tomasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Könsrock IF's Sivert Morat got control of the ball when Bror Stenqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arne Karlsson took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reine Frisck. Reine Frisck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Arne Karlsson scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reine Frisck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christopher Ljungberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Reine Frisck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Arne Karlsson came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Könsrock IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arne Karlsson couldn't finish the play. Arne Karlsson struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Reine Frisck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Könsrock IF. Könsrock IF's Arne Karlsson got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jon Ståhlman to make the kick off. The nice shot from Christopher Ljungberg in the 53rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Reine Frisck had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After a rather tough play, Könsrock IF's Staffan Fredriksson got a free kick in the 58th minute. Sivert Morat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Oskar Hägert in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of Säve booed when Könsrock IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Karlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Per-Oskar Henriksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christopher Ljungberg took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reine Frisck. Reine Frisck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Reine Frisck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon Ståhlman, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The Säve fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Könsrock IF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
