Torbjörn Zachrisson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Torsten Bark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Brask showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Björn Falkrans, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. John Sandström hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. David Arhenius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torbjörn Zachrisson went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute Björn Falkrans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Brask saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Christian Brask successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 37th minute, Birmingham FC 1875's Emanuel Gernberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christian Brask. Christian Brask yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The supporters of Jonsered IF booed when Birmingham FC 1875 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonny Hägglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Birmingham FC 1875's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Zachrisson came free, but David Arhenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robin Gerdbergs short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got David Arhenius to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 77th minute, Jan-Olof Strandberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Brask was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. A collision led to Jonsered IF getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Niklas Nordal hit a great ball. After 81 minutes, Mårten Grönlund mouthed his way into the referee's book.
