Daniel Eklund took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Arhenius. David Arhenius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 15th minute Daniel Eklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Arhenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Arhenius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Furudal. The supporters of Furudal booed when Birmingham FC 1875 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bror Löfkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Furudal's goalkeeper Elliott Engström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Birmingham FC 1875's David Arhenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tage Öberg in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Furudal's Ola Björklund seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ola Björklund the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Furudal protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ola Björklund had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Furudal fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! Björn Falkrans walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Furudal's Ivar Albäck quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Knut Strömberg, made in the 40th minute of the game. 42 minutes in the game Stig Tinglöv did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ragnar Axelsson. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Björn Falkrans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Björn Falkrans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliott Engström having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Furudal's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Falkrans came free, but Elliott Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Daniel Eklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Arhenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Furudal defense, Emanuel Gernberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elliott Engström. The Furudal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elliott Engström should have stopped the shot. A throw-in in the 75th minute of the game was made by Stig Tinglöv with Ragnar Axelsson as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Birmingham FC 1875's David Arhenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Eklund in the 78th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Eklund kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving David Arhenius. That made the score 2-2 in the 83 minute of play. Elliott Engström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Björn Falkrans's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Daniel Eklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. David Arhenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Ragnar Axelsson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
