Patrick Blom didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Tårta IF's Sven-Olof Almqvist shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Roger Bjursell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kjell Örnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Knut Vennersten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, Kenneth Åhlberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tårta IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iggesund the free kick. The supporters of Iggesund booed when Tårta IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Åhlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Tårta IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kjell Örnberg should have stopped the shot. Sven-Olof Almqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Robert Andersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrick Blom was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Iggesund's Patrick Blom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Olof Almqvist in the 83rd minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Tårta IF's Sven-Olof Almqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrick Blom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Tårta IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
