Feti Magen scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bengt-Åke Sjöö, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Urshults IF's Håkan Almkvist got a free kick in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Djurgårdens IF's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Sjöö had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Carlsson. Bengt-Åke Sjöö was a little too slow when Feti Magen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 2-0. William Petersson hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Djurgårdens IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Einar Myhr scored to the left of an out of position Bengt-Åke Sjöö, making the score, 3-0. Axel Wall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Belimir Štimac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt-Åke Sjöö made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Feti Magen sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alcides Niedermeier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Alcides Niedermeier made a precise shot to the right of Belimir Štimac. Urshults IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Bengt-Åke Sjöö showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feti Magen, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Djurgårdens IF's Bengt-Åke Sjöö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feti Magen in the 63rd minute of play. Bengt-Åke Sjöö showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dejan Golić, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Djurgårdens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Einar Myhr came free, but Bengt-Åke Sjöö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Carlsson in the 66th minute of play forced Djurgårdens IF's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Sjöö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Feti Magen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. 79 minutes into the match, Urshults IF's goalkeeper Belimir Štimac had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alcides Niedermeier. After having played for 80 minutes, Einar Myhr managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urshults IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Einar Myhr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. August Sundström hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Djurgårdens IF's Alcides Niedermeier got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Wall in the 88th minute of play forced Urshults IF's goalkeeper Belimir Štimac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alcides Niedermeier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belimir Štimac having to interfere. A collision led to Urshults IF getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Vidar Sjödin hit a great ball.
