The Brighton FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eskil Almstedt should have stopped the shot. In the 9th minute Emil Jelm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Almstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eskil Almstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Pionek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eskil Almstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Pionek, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Brighton FC's Gösta Bergstedt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Malte Palmkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Brighton FC's Eskil Almstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Whitlock in the 31st minute of play. Captain Chinese Clutch's Emil Jelm got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the game, Emil Jelm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Eskil Almstedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rafael Whitlock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Julian Pionek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eskil Almstedt. Brighton FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Pionek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Whitlock in the 43rd minute of play forced Brighton FC's goalkeeper Eskil Almstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Gösta Bergstedt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Malte Palmkvist, 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emil Jelm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Leo Matsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brighton FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Matsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Malte Palmkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 59 played minutes Brighton FC got a freekick which was hit by Leo Matsson. 60 minutes into the game, Captain Chinese Clutch's Emil Jelm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eskil Almstedt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Malte Palmkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Bergstedt in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Gösta Bergstedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brighton FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Captain Chinese Clutch the free kick. After a rather tough play, Brighton FC's Gösta Bergstedt got a free kick in the 67th minute. Eskil Almstedt came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Captain Chinese Clutch's Jon Julin. But to his dismay, Jon Julin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Brighton FC's Eskil Almstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Whitlock in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Brighton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Pionek came free, but Eskil Almstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jon Julin took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eskil Almstedt. In the 91st minute Emil Jelm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Almstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Captain Chinese Clutch played a much better game than Brighton FC and deserved their victory. The Brighton FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
