Ulf Rolfsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prince Ibrahimović, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Joseph Termander kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, one of FC Zaxon:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Zaxon. 20 minutes into the match, NOV 87's goalkeeper Sigvard Lind had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fredric Lindberg. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Bengt-Rune Eliasson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Zaxon's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt-Rune Eliasson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sigvard Lind breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fredric Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, FC Zaxon's Sigvard Lind threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bengt-Rune Eliasson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ulf Rolfsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prince Ibrahimović, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. NOV 87's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jörgen Hult in the 31st minute. Ulf Rolfsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andi Kulla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulf Rolfsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prince Ibrahimović went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bengt-Rune Eliasson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Zaxon's goalkeeper Ulf Rolfsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andi Kulla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Rolfsson having to interfere. Erland Ekeberg's late challenge caught a FC Zaxon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erland Ekeberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes NOV 87 got a freekick which was hit by Erland Ekeberg. 60 minutes into the match, NOV 87's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Rune Eliasson came free, but Sigvard Lind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NOV 87's Henry Hansson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 64th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ulf Rolfsson but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andi Kulla got free with Ulf Rolfsson in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. NOV 87's Andi Kulla was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 69th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. NOV 87 made a substitution. Konrad Vennerlund replaced Bertil Eduscho. Jonny Ekerot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigvard Lind having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, FC Zaxon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Drake to maneuver through the defense. Prince Ibrahimović blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulf Rolfsson having to make a save. 79 minutes into the game, Andi Kulla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Ulf Rolfsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Zaxon's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Prince Ibrahimović 82 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. After 84 played minutes FC Zaxon got a freekick which was hit by Kent Drake. After a rather tough play, FC Zaxon's Tage Sundström got a free kick in the 86th minute. After 87 minutes of play, NOV 87's Andi Kulla made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulf Rolfsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute, NOV 87's Prince Ibrahimović dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. When the final whistle sounded NOV 87 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Zaxon.
