Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Michael Pålsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Mathias Clementsson was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Jörn Byström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jörn Byström really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. A collision led to Real getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Christer Lundström hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Bergfeldt in the 14th minute of play forced Norrorts AIK's goalkeeper Göran Levander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Georg Bergfeldt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Göran Levander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Göran Levander came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Real's Georg Bergfeldt. But to his dismay, Georg Bergfeldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Norberg during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tommy Norberg hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Norrorts AIK's Karl-Michael Pålsson got a free kick in the 25th minute. Göran Levander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Bergfeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Michael Pålsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Mathias Clementsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Real got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Blomqvist. 32 minutes into the match, Norrorts AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Pil came free, but Göran Levander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th play minute Karl-Michael Pålsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mathias Clementsson. 2-2. Karl-Michael Pålsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Clementsson having to interfere. Georg Bergfeldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 47 minutes, Joar Lindberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Norrorts AIK and the Real players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, Joar Lindberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Michael Pålsson made a kick off. With a little luck, Norrorts AIK's Göran Levander got control of the ball when Dennis Pil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karl-Michael Pålsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Clementsson having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Karl-Michael Pålsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norrorts AIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Michael Pålsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathias Clementsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jörn Byström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dennis Pil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real's Mathias Clementsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Michael Pålsson in the 71st minute of play. Emil Hegg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Clementsson having to interfere. Mathias Clementsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Pålsson in the 74th minute of play. In the 75thth minute of the game Emil Hegg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real's Mathias Clementsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Norrorts AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Bergfeldt came free, but Göran Levander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Michael Pålsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Mathias Clementsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Norrorts AIK's Jörn Byström in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Real's zone, Jörn Byström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathias Clementsson came out of the goal and Jörn Byström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, Karl-Michael Pålsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Norrorts AIK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Karl-Michael Pålsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mathias Clementsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Norrorts AIK had played much better football throughout.
