Emanuel Blom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the game, Alfred Gråberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ställdalen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vimmerby Tigers IF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ställdalen's Alfred Gråberg got a free kick in the 13th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Alexander Sillén notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vimmerby Tigers IF's Tommy Salkvist. Tommy Salkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd minute, Linus Helberg made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Salkvist. Vimmerby Tigers IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Johannes Bohlin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ställdalen's supporters rose to their feet, but Johannes Bohlin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Salkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Kjell Håkansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 36 minutes, Linus Helberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ställdalen and the Vimmerby Tigers IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th match minute, Ställdalen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Linus Helberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th match minute, Ställdalen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Gråberg to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 40 minutes, Emanuel Blom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Alexander Sillén could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Tommy Salkvist made a huge save. Vimmerby Tigers IF's Tommy Salkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Vimmerby Tigers IF from getting a goal against them. If Emanuel Blom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Blom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yngve Nyberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Blom in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yngve Nyberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emil Bergsten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Emanuel Blom notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ställdalen's Yngve Nyberg. Yngve Nyberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th match minute, Vimmerby Tigers IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ted Brummer to maneuver through the defense. The Vimmerby Tigers IF fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Vimmerby Tigers IF's Emanuel Blom looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vimmerby Tigers IF's Tommy Salkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Vimmerby Tigers IF from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Blom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yngve Nyberg was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Kjell Håkansson scored 4-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yngve Nyberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 93 played minutes Ställdalen got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Sillén. 96 minutes into the match, Ställdalen's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Blom came free, but Yngve Nyberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
