In the 11th minute Knut Utfal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sakarias Lundberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Knut Utfal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sakarias Lundberg was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Michel Sjöberg struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Sakarias Lundberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Värmlands Nysäter. The supporters of Värmlands Nysäter booed when New Mountain FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Carlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Värmlands Nysäter getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Hubert Lindberg hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Lars Nordgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Mountain FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Nordgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustav Göransson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Värmlands Nysäter's Adam Jonasson got a free kick in the 38th minute. Lars Nordgren's shot from long distance in the 39th minute was not bad at all, but Värmlands Nysäter's Gustav Göransson knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Sakarias Lundberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hubert Lindberg's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Värmlands Nysäter's Gustav Göransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Erik Enström in the 54th minute of play. Hubert Lindberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Sakarias Lundberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Värmlands Nysäter's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
