When Jönåker RK's Sven-Oskar Skarkman in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grästorp's goalie prevented a goal. If Eric Waller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niklas Grönberg had several of the Jönåker RK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Patrick Sundin as he didn't even see the shot coming. 18 minutes into the match, Jönåker RK's goalkeeper Patrick Sundin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig Vennerkvist. Patrick Sundin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Niklas Grönberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. Grästorp's Stig Vennerkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eric Waller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Bernt Björkqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Grästorp defense, Eric Waller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernt Björkqvist. The Grästorp fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernt Björkqvist should have stopped the shot. After 34 played minutes Jönåker RK got a freekick which was hit by Edwin Norström. In the 41st minute Eric Waller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernt Björkqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernt Björkqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Waller in the 47th minute of the match.

In the 50th match minute, Jönåker RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Waller to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stig Vennerkvist during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Grästorp getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Stig Vennerkvist hit a great ball. Eric Waller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Gustav Lövskog put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Jönåker RK getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gustav Lövskog hit a great ball. Patrick Sundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oskar Spets in the 62nd minute of the match. Eric Waller kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Patrick Sundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Vennerkvist in the 66th minute of play. Patrick Sundin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Vennerkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Joacim Sandström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Grästorp booed when Jönåker RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elof Colin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig Vennerkvist scored 3-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Sundin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Svante Skarkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Sundin having to interfere. Sven-Oskar Skarkman kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Stig Vennerkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick Sundin was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Grästorp's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
