Viktor Täman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Qvarnström, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. If Gilbert Qvarnström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viktor Täman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Trulsson in the 17th minute of play. Paul Trulsson struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Viktor Täman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hammarby IF. Gilbert Qvarnström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viktor Täman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Stefan Gudmundsson kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When Paul Trulsson came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Hammarby IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Trulsson couldn't finish the play.

After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Paul Trulsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hammarby IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Trulsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viktor Täman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paul Trulsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Viktor Täman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viktor Täman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Qvarnström in the 89th minute of the match. The Hammarby IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hammarby IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
