Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Olof Bröms got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Folke Glad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jörgen Alfors came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Gislaved IK's Ian Abrahamsson. But to his dismay, Ian Abrahamsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Charles Abelsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olof Bröms's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Ian Abrahamsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Alfors having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Gislaved IK's goal looked a bit too open when Gottfrid Wållander came free, but Charles Abelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl Dalkvist's late challenge caught a Liwocz 1968 Brzyska's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl Dalkvist helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gislaved IK getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Karl Dalkvist hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Liwocz 1968 Brzyska:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gislaved IK:s goal. The goalkeeper, Jörgen Alfors, was totally fooled by Gislaved IK's Andréas Rydelius, who 21 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Olof Bröms managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liwocz 1968 Brzyska's supporters rose to their feet, but Olof Bröms was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles Abelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jörgen Alfors made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ian Abrahamsson in the 28th minute. Sten Nykvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Charles Abelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ian Abrahamsson got free with Jörgen Alfors in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olof Bröms sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 40 minutes into the game, Sten Nykvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liwocz 1968 Brzyska's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gislaved IK the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Liwocz 1968 Brzyska was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Nykvist to maneuver through the defense. Jörgen Alfors showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Qvarnström, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute Frans Qvarnström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Alfors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olof Bröms fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Abelsson having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frans Qvarnström made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ian Abrahamsson notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Liwocz 1968 Brzyska's Jörgen Alfors. Jörgen Alfors was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 56th match minute, Liwocz 1968 Brzyska was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folke Glad to maneuver through the defense. Gislaved IK's Andréas Rydelius couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Liwocz 1968 Brzyska. Billy Hedström kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Torbjörn Ahlstedt made in the 69th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Karl Dalkvist immediately put the ball in play. Liwocz 1968 Brzyska's Jörgen Alfors played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Abrahamsson in the 71st minute of play. Charles Abelsson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gottfrid Wållander. 82 minutes into the game, Olof Bröms recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Charles Abelsson. Olof Bröms showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Charles Abelsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olof Bröms's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Sten Nykvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Liwocz 1968 Brzyska's Olof Bröms ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Charles Abelsson. Charles Abelsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. Jörgen Alfors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frans Qvarnström in the 94th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
