Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gaudencio Chago kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Joakim Löv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute, IFK Göteborg's Leonard Ekelund seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Leonard Ekelund the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of IFK Göteborg protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Leonard Ekelund had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of IFK Göteborg:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Huddungeby:s goal. Pål Eliasson kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, IFK Göteborg's goal looked a bit too open when Ludwig Barck came free, but Albert Walcott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Huddungeby's Vincent Lundström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Tomasson in the 21st minute of play. Albert Walcott was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Gaudencio Chago capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gaudencio Chago really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Huddungeby's Philip Bäckman got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Huddungeby defense, Adrian Tomasson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vincent Lundström. The Huddungeby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vincent Lundström should have stopped the shot. Gaudencio Chago received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Albert Walcott came out and tried to block the shot, but Gaudencio Chago slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrian Tomasson made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Arkadiusz Cwynar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vincent Lundström. Huddungeby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arkadiusz Cwynar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Arkadiusz Cwynar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Vincent Lundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Tomasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Gaudencio Chago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albert Walcott. IFK Göteborg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaudencio Chago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Arkadiusz Cwynar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd match minute, Huddungeby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pål Eliasson to maneuver through the defense. Vincent Lundström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrian Tomasson in the 76th minute. Albert Walcott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludwig Barck in the 78th minute of play. If Arkadiusz Cwynar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joakim Löv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Vincent Lundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 90 minutes, Thomas Västlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Göteborg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Västlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vincent Lundström came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by IFK Göteborg's Adrian Tomasson. But to his dismay, Adrian Tomasson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Vincent Lundström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrian Tomasson went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-4 was the resulting score. Despite being the better team, IFK Göteborg failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
