Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jonas Åkerberg got the match started through his kick off. In the 9th minute, Björn Biörkman made a precise shot to the right of Sven-Arne Hääger. Surahammar BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 20 minutes into the match, Surahammar BK's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Martxelin came free, but Sven-Arne Hääger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Arne Hääger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damaso Martxelin went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Björn Biörkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Martxelin in the 26th minute of play forced Surahammar BK's goalkeeper Sven-Arne Hääger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Björn Biörkman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Arne Hääger was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After 30 played minutes Surahammar BK got a freekick which was hit by Walter Alkvist. In the 31st minute Damaso Martxelin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Arne Hääger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Surahammar BK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Christer Svartengren hit a great ball. A hard shot 33 in the game by Per-Oskar Hegg from a close distance when the talented Marc Eklund managed to make a qualified save. Mora IK's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Biörkman in the 36th minute of play forced Surahammar BK's goalkeeper Sven-Arne Hääger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Oskar Hegg in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marc Eklund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 43rd minute Walter Alkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mora IK's Marc Eklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Alkvist in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Surahammar BK's Jonas Åkerberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. After the first half Mora IK were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damaso Martxelin to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Mora IK's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Åkerberg came free, but Marc Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Arne Hääger came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mora IK's Björn Biörkman. But to his dismay, Björn Biörkman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Sven-Arne Hääger was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Björn Biörkman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 57 minute of play. Marc Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Oskar Hegg in the 61st minute of the match. Jonas Åkerberg struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Marc Eklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Surahammar BK. Marc Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Åkerberg in the 68th minute of play. If Per-Oskar Hegg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marc Eklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Åkerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Arne Hääger was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Richard Koch capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Richard Koch really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. In the 80th minute Jonas Åkerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Per-Oskar Hegg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Surahammar BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mora IK the free kick. 82 minutes into the match, Surahammar BK's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Martxelin came free, but Sven-Arne Hääger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mora IK's Richard Koch got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Damaso Martxelin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sven-Arne Hääger. The goal made the score 2-9. Lucas Persson scored 2-10 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Arne Hääger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damaso Martxelin in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Arne Hääger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over Mora IK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Surahammar BK throughout the match.
