Tony Granberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yngve Albohm in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Rångedala IK's Allan Eklund seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Allan Eklund the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rångedala IK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Allan Eklund had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Rångedala IK getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Allan Eklund hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the game, Verner Hernström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rångedala IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blixtens BK the free kick. After 13 played minutes Rångedala IK got a freekick which was hit by Verner Hernström. After 16 played minutes Rångedala IK got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Hedin. Rångedala IK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Yngve Albohm scored to the left of an out of position Tony Granberg, making the score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Melander in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Granberg saved Rångedala IK from getting behind. Tony Granberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yngve Albohm in the 38th minute of the match. Rångedala IK's Tony Granberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yngve Albohm in the 40th minute of play. If Iacob Vaida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony Granberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reine Nilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Thomas Melander made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Iacob Vaida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rångedala IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iacob Vaida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Stig Sjöberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rångedala IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blixtens BK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Rångedala IK's Stig Sjöberg got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 66th minute, Iacob Vaida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Melander in the 68th minute of play forced Rångedala IK's goalkeeper Tony Granberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Thomas Melander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Blixtens BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 73 minutes, Iacob Vaida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rångedala IK and the Blixtens BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 played minutes Rångedala IK got a freekick which was hit by Iacob Vaida. 78 minutes into the game, Torsten Linqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rångedala IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blixtens BK the free kick. Torsten Linqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Reine Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Granberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reine Nilsson in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Granberg saved Rångedala IK from getting behind. Reine Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Granberg having to interfere. There was no doubt that Blixtens BK were the better team. Blixtens BK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
