Spectators: 7118 (Terracing: 5448, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gunnar Gallberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some careless play in the Republic of Sundsvall defense, Tjan Cvahte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bengt-Rune Wahlström. The Republic of Sundsvall fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bengt-Rune Wahlström should have stopped the shot. 7 minutes into the game, Gunnar Gallberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SOUTHAMPTON F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Republic of Sundsvall the free kick. After a rather tough play, SOUTHAMPTON F.C's Gunnar Gallberg got a free kick in the 7th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Joachim Ahlroht threw the ball into play from the sideline. SOUTHAMPTON F.C's Gunnar Gallberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Republic of Sundsvall's Bengt-Rune Wahlström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Gallberg in the 12th minute of play. Krister Ivarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Wiberg in the 13th minute of play. After 14 played minutes SOUTHAMPTON F.C got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Gallberg. After 19 minutes of play, SOUTHAMPTON F.C's Tjan Cvahte made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt-Rune Wahlström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bengt-Rune Wahlström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Gallberg in the 22nd minute of the match. Bengt-Rune Wahlström came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by SOUTHAMPTON F.C's Gunnar Gallberg. But to his dismay, Gunnar Gallberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Republic of Sundsvall's Bengt-Rune Wahlström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tjan Cvahte in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Gunnar Gallberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Bengt-Rune Wahlström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 35 minutes into the match, Republic of Sundsvall's goal looked a bit too open when Tjan Cvahte came free, but Bengt-Rune Wahlström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunnar Gallberg took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bengt-Rune Wahlström. Bengt-Rune Wahlström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Bengt-Rune Wahlström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Gallberg in the 42nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Felix Dahlkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. SOUTHAMPTON F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Dahlkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt-Rune Wahlström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Evert Kiempe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, SOUTHAMPTON F.C's Krister Ivarsson got control of the ball when Michel Hägert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alf Wiberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Krister Ivarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Hägert in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Dahlkvist in the 57th minute of play forced Republic of Sundsvall's goalkeeper Bengt-Rune Wahlström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, SOUTHAMPTON F.C's Evert Kiempe got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 62 played minutes, Republic of Sundsvall's Roland Wiklund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Krister Ivarsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Republic of Sundsvall reached it. Jimmie Nordlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bengt-Rune Wahlström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Dahlkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 75 minutes of play, SOUTHAMPTON F.C's Jimmie Nordlund made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt-Rune Wahlström was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute, SOUTHAMPTON F.C's Tjan Cvahte ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bengt-Rune Wahlström. Bengt-Rune Wahlström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. In the 87th minute Lukas Björnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Wahlström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Republic of Sundsvall's John Berg got a free kick in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Gunnar Gallberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Bengt-Rune Wahlström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 96th minute, SOUTHAMPTON F.C's Tjan Cvahte dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11.
