Noraström IFK's Conny Gudmundsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Klemensson in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, HBG ÖSTRA IF's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Haglund came free, but Mathias Helström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, HBG ÖSTRA IF's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Dalkvist came free, but Mathias Helström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viktor Höijer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 40 played minutes, Noraström IFK's Sven-Ove Gunnarsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mathias Helström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Noraström IFK reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesper Blom in the 45th minute of play forced HBG ÖSTRA IF's goalkeeper Mathias Helström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 57th minute, Arne Dalkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mathias Helström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Charlie Klemensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rdth minute of the game Charlie Klemensson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Noraström IFK's Conny Gudmundsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Allan Albohm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Noraström IFK's zone, Charlie Klemensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conny Gudmundsson came out of the goal and Charlie Klemensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Rune Haglund kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mathias Helström. That made the score 0-3 in the 78 minute of play.
