Lennart Håkansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Max Pedersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Max Pedersson came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Storseleby's Rikard Löfgren. But to his dismay, Rikard Löfgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Robert Hellbom put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kenneth Karlsson. 21 minutes into the match, Riksgränsen FF's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Håkansson came free, but Max Pedersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenneth Karlsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viggo Deckbergh's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Robert Hellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Viggo Deckbergh had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenneth Karlsson. Storseleby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viggo Deckbergh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 34th match minute, Riksgränsen FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Åkerberg to maneuver through the defense. If Rikard Löfgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Storseleby's zone, Viggo Deckbergh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth Karlsson came out of the goal and Viggo Deckbergh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robert Linberg kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. If Viggo Deckbergh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Riksgränsen FF were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Lennart Håkansson made the kick off in the second half. Kenneth Karlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Hellbom in the 53rd minute of the match. Storseleby's Rikard Löfgren got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rikard Löfgren in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Max Pedersson saved Riksgränsen FF from getting behind. If Viggo Deckbergh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Lennart Håkansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Max Pedersson was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. When Robert Hellbom came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Riksgränsen FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Hellbom couldn't finish the play. Viggo Deckbergh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Kenneth Karlsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Storseleby's Kenneth Karlsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Storseleby from getting a goal against them. Viggo Deckbergh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Karlsson having to interfere. Max Pedersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Håkansson in the 90th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Lennart Håkansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Pedersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
